dry production

Stir quartz sand and sodium salts (mainly Na2CO3, Na2SO4) evenly, and melt them at a high temperature of about 1400°C. According to different raw materials, it is divided into soda ash method and Glauber's salt method. The production process includes four processes: batching, calcination, immersion, and concentration.
 

The specific process is:

A: Batching and melting: Soda ash or Glauber's salt and quartz sand are mixed in proportion by a mixer and then added to a reverberatory furnace or a horseshoe flame furnace through a storage tank and a feeding hopper by a screw conveyor for melting reaction.

B: Immersion: When the raw material is added to the melting furnace, the molten water glass can flow into the cooling tank from the feeding port, and then be sent into the storage barrel by a small crawler conveyor. The glass block is hoisted and poured into the drum. According to the weight of the block and different product specifications, an appropriate amount of water is added, and steam is introduced to dissolve. The steam pressure is generally 0.4 to 0.5 MPa, and the rotation speed of the liquid cylinder is 2 to 4 r/min. Dissolve to a certain concentration Then put it into the precipitation tank, and remove impurities by natural precipitation. C: Concentration: The solution after removing impurities is sent to the concentration tank for concentration, which is indirectly heated by steam, and the bottom of the tank is heated by the waste heat of the flue gas of the melting furnace. When the solution is concentrated to the required concentration, it is the finished product.


 

Wet production

 

Wet production of Paohua alkali is divided into traditional wet process and active SiO2 normal pressure production process. Traditional wet production process The traditional wet production of caustic soda has high yield, low energy consumption, low labor intensity, and easy availability of raw materials, but this method can only produce products with a modulus less than 25. The production principle is that quartz sand is heated in high temperature caustic soda. Dissolved in sodium silicate. Activated SiO2 normal pressure production process Active SiO2 normal pressure production of Paocyanine is a new process developed in the process of three-waste treatment in recent years. At present, there are not many manufacturers using this method. The production modulus of this method is 2.2~ 3 7 of any product. The mechanism is to use the active SiO2 (or silica gel) in the by-products or scraps produced in industrial production to react with caustic soda under normal pressure to generate sodium silicate. The reaction equation is the same as the traditional wet process.
